 Hi,

I am planning to purchase a new PC for creating a new Lab at home and want to install the Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 on it. I have read the system requirement details from the MS website: http://www.microsoft.com/hyper-v-server/en/us/2008-system-requirements.aspx, however I got confused while selecting about the processors?

Which processor model should I choose, whether to choose an Intel / AMD, any specific models?

Kindly advice?

Thanks for your response. I have checked the URL mentioned by you. However, for AMD processors, I didn't find any further details on their website as well. Intel has good detailed info about their processor on their website. So, I am thinking to go with Intel.
